Shiftwalker

ShiftWalker is a 2D side-scrolling puzzle platformer built with Unity 2022.3.6f1, where players can shift between two parallel worlds to navigate through increasingly complex levels. The core mechanic explores the theme "One Mechanic, Many Worlds".

🎮 Gameplay

• Shift between World A and World B to bypass obstacles, avoid traps, and solve puzzles.
• Features classic platforming elements: movement, double jump, pressure plates, moving platforms, and hazards.
• Each world has different physical properties (e.g., gravity, visibility, platform layouts).
• The player must think strategically and shift at the right time to progress.

📖 Story

You play as a mysterious test subject chosen by Koko, who grants you the power to shift worlds to retrieve a legendary diamond.
But at the end of Chapter 1, Koko reveals his real motive:

"You were never here to find the diamond. You were the test."

In Chapter 2, you must escape Koko’s simulation and reclaim your freedom.

• Chapter 1: 8 handcrafted levels (short to medium length) introducing and building on the shifting mechanic.

• 1 Intro Cutscene & 1 Outro Cutscene included.

🧪 How to Play

• A / D – Move
• Space – Jump (Double Jump Enabled)
• Right Mouse or E – Shift Worlds
• Avoid spikes, time your jumps, and use your shifting ability to solve puzzles!

1. Download the ZIP file.
2. Extract it using WinRAR or 7-Zip.
3. Open the extracted folder and run ShiftWalker.exe.
